Terms of service.
Last updated 12 August 2026.
The terms we work to, written the way we'd explain them on the phone. No surprises on the day is the whole point.
Who these terms are between
These terms cover work carried out by Noir Detailing (“we”, “us”) for you, the customer, anywhere in Manchester & surrounding areas. They apply from the moment you send a booking request. Reach us at noirdetail@outlook.com or on 07865 863365.
Prices and what they include
Our prices are flat — they do not change with the size of your vehicle. What each package includes is listed in full on the services section, starting at £30. Where a price is shown as “from”, the final figure depends on the condition of the vehicle and we will confirm it with you before we start. Add-ons are priced separately, and vehicles needing significantly more time or specialised products may carry an additional charge. The estimate the booking form shows you is a guide, not an invoice.
Booking and your deposit
A minimum 30% deposit secures every booking. Send your request and we'll message you our bank details — the slot is held as soon as the deposit lands, and not before. Until then the date and time you chose remain available to other customers. Deposits go towards the total price of the work.
Cancellations, rearranging and no-shows
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange, so we can offer the slot to someone else. Late arrivals may shorten the service we are able to deliver in the booked window, and repeated no-shows may mean we ask for a deposit up front on future bookings. If we ever need to cancel on you, you get your deposit back in full or the first slot that suits you — your choice.
Weather
Mobile detailing is weather dependent. In heavy rain or unsafe conditions we'll rearrange your appointment for the next slot that works, at no cost to you — your deposit carries over.
What we need on the day
Please empty the vehicle of personal belongings before we arrive, make sure we can reach the vehicle safely, and have a water tap we can use. We can't take responsibility for items left inside the vehicle. If we arrive and cannot work — no access, no water, or the vehicle isn't there — we may have to treat it as a late cancellation.
Your vehicle and our care
We use safe professional products and techniques on every job. We are not liable for pre-existing defects such as scratches, swirl marks, stone chips, faded or failing paint, rust, loose or perished trim, worn upholstery or existing mechanical and electrical faults, or for such defects becoming more visible once the vehicle is clean. Some stains, odours and damage cannot be removed; where that is the case we'll tell you rather than guess.
Payment
The balance is due on completion. We take cash and bank transfer, and the deposit itself is by bank transfer. Nothing is ever charged on this website — there is no card form and no payment processor anywhere on it. If a page ever asks you to enter card details in our name, it is not us.
Our guarantee
Your satisfaction is the priority. If anything isn't right, tell us before we leave and we'll resolve it there and then. We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service where a vehicle presents a health or safety risk, or where the work requested is beyond what we can safely deliver.
The Maintenance Plan
The Maintenance Plan is a recurring arrangement that starts after a Full Deep Clean, and is billed per visit. It is not part of the total for your first booking. Either of us can stop it at any time — just tell us before the next visit is due.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or any other consumer protection law. Where anything here conflicts with those rights, the law wins. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version published here when you send your booking request is the one that applies to it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
The same ground, in short form, is in straight answers on the homepage.
